ay Directors for the Fall Walks will be Bruce Wood, Men's Walk #74, Oct. 12-15 and Lynn MacDonald, Women's Walk #75, LOct. 19-22. Please be in prayer for these people as they have accepted God's call for servanthood in this capacity. Also pray about your participation in the Walks and let them or any Board member know of your interest as soon as possible
Please take time to look at the Reunion Groups page and make sure your group is listed and all information is up to date. If there needs to be changes to your listing, contact: Billie Benson @ email@example.com
We are off to a good start in 2017. The Show Me the Way Community has elected new Board members for the coming year. Jerry Hudson has tan over the reins of the chairman from Paula Ward and plans have begun for the fall walks. If you would like to know who the new Board members are, click on the Board of Directors link above. There you will find a contact email for each individual. We are also in the process of setting up a community email address to receive general emails having to do with the entire community.
The Community Calendar has been updated to show Board meetings and gatherings. If you have any gatherings you would like to have listed here, please contact Billie Benson with all pertinent information.
The upcoming walk numbers and dates are listed in the panel to the left. We would like for you to begin praying right away for these walks. Also, if you would like to work either walk, contact Jerry Hudson and let him know as soon as possible. If you would like to host any of the events listed on the calendar (some have a TBD in the location), let Jerry know that as well. We have not set exact dates for training and we do not have those locations either. They will be in August and September. Please check for updates on the calendar.
Remember, information for the Walk to Emmaus is available on this website. Please have prospective pilgrims visit here to check the History page and the What to Expect page. You can also download the forms for getting people signed up for the walk. Please get those people signed as soon as you can. That helps greatly in the planning and implementation of the Walk.
We look forward to serving you in 2017 and we look forward to your participation in all Community activities - especially the Walks
Because of the desire to have a more local community in which to serve, "Heart of the Ozarks" was formed in the spring of 1994 by a group of local people that had taken their Walk to Emmaus with the "Noah's of Ark" Community in October of 1985. In the spring of 1996, members of the "Heart of the Ozarks" Emmaus community in southwest Missouri formed the "Show Me The Way" community.
